The graduation paper is devoted to the question of the lack of development of political marketing in our country.
The overall idea of the research is to discover development of such discipline as «political marketing» during the history of the Russian Federation existence, understand the importance and the role of political marketing in foreign internal politics and moreover to compare them whith each other in order to undertand what makes foreign political marketing successful.

Graduation Paper Summary.

 

The graduation paper is devoted to the question of the lack of development of political marketing in our country.

The overall idea of the research is to discover development of such discipline as «political marketing» during the history of the Russian Federation existence, understand the importance and the role of political marketing in foreign internal politics and moreover to compare them whith each other in order to undertand what makes foreign political marketing successful.

What makes my research significant is the fact that currently people in our country are becoming more and more political active, so pre-election marketing technologies are becoming the main means to influence on masses. However taking into account that all the knowledge we have about the political marketing are borrowed from the West, what we need to do is to reveal features of Russian’s sales market and adapt knowledge we have for it.

 

The discourse of the theory of political marketing in Russia defines it’s status a «catching-up» science. Theoretocal judgement of concept of political marketing in E.G..Morozova’s works represent special value in this context, as well as series of the S.N.Pshizova’s researches devoted to studing of the political market, influences of a phenomenon of political marketing upon political processes. In my research I also used works of N.L.Nedyak, N.Y.Altukhova, A.A.Dzhabazova, D.A.Nezhdanova, A.V.Nekrasov, A.Nurutdinova, I.V.Razumova, A.A.Tverdova, A.N.Tkachenko, T.O.Holodkovsky and others.

 

Concerning the type of the research, I would call it mixed type of a case study and a survey. The information was taken from various number of public opinion Poll, public opinion monitoring and results of political elections in Russia during last 11 years.

 

The Graduation Paper falls into three logical parts. The first chapter includes a theoretical basis of the research of the political marketing and the history of it’s development in Russia in the period 2000-2011. Second part is desidned to technologies of the political marketing in Russia political life (such as pre-electional media technologies, mass media influence on formation of public opinion and an increasing role of the Internet). And the last chapter discusses the problem of the role of the political marketing in conditions of modern political situation in Russia.

 

According to results of my research the fact that practisce of political marketing in our country is at the initial stage of it’s development was elicited. In spite of the fact that it’s technologies are widely applied over the last 10 years, the western level has not been reached yet. Nevertheless the research proves that for the last recent years an obvious jump was outlined in development of the Russian marketing, that can be observed during the perliamentary elections in 2011 (we can see examples of active using of black and white PR technologies).

 

Overall, we are on a right way for achieving the necessary level marketing technologies applications, that will for sure make our political life more fascinating and various.
