Colonization, war, and unjust appropriation of the property of others have always been an inseparable aspect of colonization during the times which Locke and Kipling reflect upon in their works. The idea of one nation dominating over the other, less superior one, prevails in Rudyard Kipling’s poem, “White Man’s Burden”. The work of the English poet summarizes the general mood which has been circling the minds of the enlightened people of Europe to take the natives of African and Asian continents under her wings. John Locke, who is regarded as one of the most influential Enlightenment thinkers and is the author of “The Second Treatise of Government,” would be critical and firmly opposed to the message of Kipling’s poem. Locke would argue that invading other nations, subduing them to foreign will, and gaining capital from their resources is unjust because it puts the two nations into a state of war, inspires inequality which is brought about with the concept of money, and promotes scarcity of resources which widens the gap of inequality between men.

What is the difference between man and women? It seems like simple question, so most of the people will say that the difference is particularly in physiology, appearance (phenotype), genotype and gene. This is only biological view that gender differences are natural, constant and based on sex difference. Another approach supposes that gender does not associate with sex. It connects with the way of person either masculine or feminine behavior. It is also believed that there is no connection in being a man and behaving in a masculine way. This essay will examine different kinds of masculinities based on some main characters from the Billy Elliot movie.

Since ancient times Nature has served Man giving everything he needs: air to breathe, food to eat, water to drink, wood for building and fuel for heating his home. For thousands of years people lived in harmony with the environment and it seemed to them that the resources of nature had no end or limit. With the industrial revolution our negative influence on Nature began to increase. Large cities with thousands of steaming, polluting plants and factories can be found nowadays all over the world. The by-products of their activity pollute the air we breathe the water we drink the fields where our crops are grown. That*s why those who live in cities prefer spending their days off and their holidays far from the noise of the city, to be closer to nature. Perhaps they like to breathe fresh air or to swim in clear water because the ecology is not so poor as in the cities.

Voici l’immeuble où mon appartement se trouve. C’est un immeuble de neuf étages. A l’entrée, chaque locataire a sa boite aux lettres. Aux paliers les appuis des fenêtres sont ornée de plantes en pots. Il a tout le confort moderne, comme l’électricité, le téléphone, l’accès à l’Internet, un ascenseur, un vide-ordures et un parcage à travers la rue et il se trouve aussi pas loin du metro et il y a un arrêt de trolleybus devant l’immeuble. Dans le batiment d’à coté il y a un magasin d’allimentation, c'est pourquoi on ne perd pas beacoup de temps pour acheter des provisions.
